<p><strong>Description</strong><br />Meet Minoru, meaning “Reality” in Japanese, the world’s first 3D webcam.<br />Connect Minoru to your PC and he will come alive, his eyes will light up and he will be looking at you in 3D. Your friends and family can now see you in 3D over your favourite messaging program like Windows Live Messenger, Skype, <span class="caps">AOL</span> instant messenger, OoVoo and many others. You can also take 3D photos or even shoot 3D videos and upload them to YouTube.</p>

<p><strong>Technical Description</strong><br />The webcam can operate in three modes, those being;<br />3D when viewed with 3D glasses<br />2D when the viewer doesn’t have any 3D glasses<br />Picture in Picture (PiP), a small inset window appears at the bottom right of the video stream. It is useful for showing a close-up of an object (held in front of the webcam left eye) while maintaining a view of the user’s face (with the webcam right eye).<br />When used for video messaging no software is required to be installed on the viewers PC. The only requirement for the viewer is that they have a pair of 3D glasses so they can view the 3D image.</p>
<p>The webcam is supplied with proprietary software for recording video and making still snapshots. The software has a facility for easy one click uploading of 3D videos to YouTube. 3D snapshots can be sent by email to your friends with a single click. The 3D webcam will also work with other recording and messaging applications just like any standard webcam would. The webcam has a multi-position stand so it can sit or stand on the user’s desk or it can perch on top of a flatscreen monitor.</p>
